Hi, I did some test on Thruxton circuit and I found an issue. There are no cuts warnings on track and is quite easy to gain 4-7 tenths by cut last chicane.
I think is not good and need to check the out-off-track detection.

I think drivers must be heavely penalizzed if cut too much for gaining time in qualify and during race.

Yeah I was worrying about the same thing.
The final chicane is a bit of a joke as you can completely miss out the left corner and jump the curbs. I think the first chicane does have penalties enabled – but I’m not sure how accurate they are for each part of it.

In any case, a field of cars flat out through church on the first lap is going to be… exciting.

I will have to change the track version to V0.72, we have used this one before without problems,,

You can blame me for that one.

I suggested trying the new version, as it had been updated to DX11 etc.

Ill post on workshop now and let them know cut detection isnt working on last chicane, if it hasnt been done already.

The newer version is good track. Better kurbs, more grip tarmac, better environment. But I think is better to use the old one till the modder will resolve the problem about cut detection.

News! There is an update of the track to 0.99. We should test it, if you can Mal, change track again today and I can test 🙂

I did a test with Thruxton 0.99. They added some bumps on corner 5 and chicane but
    nothing change.

I think is better to use version 0.72, without any polemics.

Hi, this time around we will continue with V0.72 until we have more time to test the differences. It is too close now to change again. Sorry for any inconvenience caused with the track change yesterday but we do not have the resources or time to view and judge every driver on every lap because there are no track limits in force.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    See you there.

    Mal
