Hi all, with only 3 race meets left in season 2 I don’t think it’s too early to begin thinking about S3. Having spoke with admin and some members, PCars2 is proving to be a closa favourite and therefore I would like to hear any ideas for the S3 format.
I personally would like to race TC or TC1 on Pcars2, with a variety of tracks, some of the favourites and some new ones. eg.
Oulton Park Island
Red Bull Ring
Same format Sprint and Feature race.
Your thoughts Please so the planning can begin….

Is the game ready for league racing?
Would probably be worth doing a fun event first, see how lag and logistics of it all work. Hour long race with time on x24 or something lol
As a league format, rF2 would be better, but PC2 is fun because it has weather etc. (which rF2 is being worked on).7th November 2017 at 11:36 am #1388
Not sure if it is ready, PC1 wasn’t as easy as rF2 but we managed it before so I think this is possible,
A fun/practice race is a great idea the sooner the better.
Just raced the Ginetta G40 GT5 , good TC maybe a contender for a league car class.7th November 2017 at 5:27 pm #1390
I dont think we will be moving away from RF2 – I would like to see us running RF2 and PC2 leagues going forward, concurrently. Alternate weeks of course, with one league running on a Saturday evening or Sunday afteroon.
As you know, Mal currently manages all back end work with regards to league organisation in our current format. Would be good to know if anyone can assist Mal with this going forward.
Would also be looking for Stewards for all seasons going forward
EDIT – Everyone can help with attracting new members to the site for both RF2 and PC2. This would be appreciated.
Those of you who have raced with us week in week out, are more than welcome to ask for additional access to the site for member approvals and forum access

Hi, I don’t own PC2, so if a S3 will be created on that sim, I can’t join.
As Keymaster said, double championship could be done on the two sims.
I have an idea for S3 in rF2. Same circuits of S2 with the Radical SR3. This car is lot fun to drive and very good physics. So could be called Radical UK Championship 🙂8th November 2017 at 1:43 pm #1393
It`s a difficult one Fabio.
While it would be more fun to drive something challenging and fast, you have to consider the bigger picture of enticing more players into the series. Some of these cars may put off newcomers to online racing. Even the ones that enter and have a hard time being competitive may be put off. It`s no fun crashing/spinning all the time.
On the flip side, you have something slow and safe, and you find the elite not wanting to drive as it`s considered ‘day one’ racing.
It’s finding that middle ground that works for everyone. I think the Clio’s worked well because they were fairly easy to drive, but not so much it was ‘arcade’ like.
Touring cars is the obvious choice, as you need more damage/spin resistance and less RWD spin-prone craziness, but I`m biased because I prefer touring cars over open-wheel and prototypess.
Fast AND touring car like would be something along the GT3 type range?

Would a BTCC Championship be of interest for RF2?8th November 2017 at 7:18 pm #1397
That could be the possible answer, as the mod has been opened to the public now anyway, so wouldnt be peeing on anybodies chips 🙂9th November 2017 at 11:58 am #1399
I’m in…10th November 2017 at 11:29 am #1402
BTCC is ok to me but I really don’t like so much the Honda BTCC NTGC car.
Why instead use TCR mod? I think is little better IMHO10th November 2017 at 6:24 pm #1403
The Honda is the standard ISI model. Only thing non standard is tyre model.11th November 2017 at 12:05 am #1404
I must apologise to Fabio when i went against the SR3.
I think i had the mad SR8 in mmind when i was thinking about this Radical.
Might be worth giving the SR3, and some other cars, a shot in single events?11th November 2017 at 1:26 am #1405
It’s ok Kris. I was talking about RS3, an official mod by Studio-397 made available from july. Is free and is very fun car to drive. Also is a good start point for using a more performance car with High Aero effect.
Is a proposal and don’t know If can attract new members at OTCR. Season 2 started with over 12 drivers and last two events we were 6-7.
We could try a couple of fun events before and see how ppl respond, also by sharing in socials and friends.
About Civic, I’m joining a championship at Simracing-GP community. Is called “The Rookie League: Civic” and we use BTCC NGTC 1.3. I’m honest, the car is quite easy to drive but lot understeer and tyre wear. I don’t really like it so much. I tried Simco WTCC 2016 1.41 (@ISR championship) and I think is much better. We could also try a fun event with These and than make a choice.12th November 2017 at 10:50 am #1418
BTCC and WTCC mod installed and servers are up for testing…
